Microchipping - the
simplest, kindest and easiest way of identifying your pet
|
|
 |
Tony and Maureen Taylor are both Qualified Microchip
Implanters with Pet-detect, where they were trained and
qualified by a Veterinary Surgeon. The Government is proposing a
scheme, supported by the Kennel Club, for every dog (and
eventually every cat) to be identified by a microchip or tattoo.
Microchipping is undoubtedly one of the best ways of ensuring
your dog or other small animal (cats, ferrets, rabbits) are
permanently identified and can be reunited with their owners if
lost. |
|
The dog or cat will not feel any more discomfort from a
microchip implant than they would from a conventional injection.
As dog lovers, we are sensitive to your pet's needs and take
time to ensure no stress is involved. |
 |
|
 |
Microchipping uses Radio Frequency (RFID) technology and
cannot be tampered with, fade or be removed. The chip is
deposited into the area between the shoulder blades. |
|
Once your pet has been chipped, you will be provided with a
log sheet of the registration which will be registered with
Petlog (the Kennel Club's Pet Identification Scheme) and your dog will be permanently
identified for life. We can also use our scanning
equipment to identify dogs or small animals and it is always a
great feeling to be able to reunite them with their
owners. |
 |
|
We regularly travel to shows around the
country so please do not hesitate to contact us for a
quotation. Based in North Yorkshire, we can easily
provide our Microchip Implanting service throughout North
Yorkshire, Co Durham and Cleveland.
|
|
Our prices are very competitive and
normally significantly cheaper than Implanting undertaken by
Veterinary Surgeons. As qualified Implanters, the
highest standards of care and hygiene are adopted at all
times. Naturally, we have special rates where
more than one animal - or litters - are involved.
