Sadly, it is a fact that many people find themselves facing debt
and credit problems at some point. Whilst it is always an
unpleasant and difficult period, there are organisations that are
able to help, including Citizens Advice Bureau and other volunteer
organisations that are always well worth talking to.
If you are
facing credit difficulties, always talk to the credit or loan
company first to see if you can come to some responsible arrangement
that you and they can live with. If this is not possible, you
should seek professional advice from specialist businesses who may
be able to help.
Debt management companies and accountancy firms specialising in
debt problems may be able to come up with a solution to resolve your
problems, possibly involving organising an informal agreement with
your creditors or, if this is not possible, a more formalised IVA
(Individual Voluntary Arrangement) or even suggest Bankruptcy as a
way out - whichever approach is right for your circumstances, do
take advice.
