Maursett Mindsapint) is awarded the bitch CC at the Ladies
Kennel Association Championship Show.

- Clumber Spaniels: Leslie and Gordon Nesbitt's
Maursett Machrins Via Chabrouille
(a son of our own
Maursett Mamile)
continues to impress as this time he takes the Gundog Puppy
Group at the Ashington Open Show - what a great start to his
career.

his owners proud by taking the Reserve Best in Show and Best
Puppy in Show honours at the Alnwick Limited Show.

18th October 2006
- Clumber Spaniels: Michael McKay judged the breed
at the Gundog Society of Wales Championship Show. He
awarded the Bitch CC to our own
Maursett
Maude and the Dog CC and Best of Breed to Walter and Jane
Lucas's Sh Ch Eilandon Glencoe at Lubyrnetyre (whose sire is, of
course, Riff Raff -
Sh Ch Maursett
Mindsapint).
German Wirehaired
Pointers: meanwhile, in an adjacent ring at the same show,
breed specialist Ruth Martin judged GWPs and awarded the Bitch
CC and Best of Breed to one of our breeding - Norma Ellis's
Maursett Marelda via Normbar
is now on two tickets and we have great hopes for this daughter
of Fizz (Sh Ch Normbar Coleen of Maursett).
1st October 2006
- Clumber Spaniels: Gina Bowers judged the Clumber
Spaniel Club's Championship Show and awarded the Limit Bitch
Class to Mamile (Maursett
Mamile). Meanwhile, Riff Raff (Sh
Ch Maursett Mindsapint) won Veteran Dog and then Best
Veteran in Show. To complete his successful return to the
Show ring, Riff Raff (and his progeny) was awarded the
Stud Dog class and then competed for and won the Club's Breeders
Trophy.
30th September 2006
- German Wirehaired
Pointers: At Leicester Gundog Club, Tony judges German
Wirehaired Pointers and awards Best of Breed to John & Jean
Marshall's , Sh Ch Bareve Boxcara to Jepejo ShCM.
Cocker Spaniels: Tony was also delighted to be able to
judge a strong set of Cocker Spaniel classes; he gave Best
of Breed to Needham's Terriles Tamsin at Merryhaze, RBoB to
Casson's Blue Boy Lyntonys Dream at Cascarlyn and Best Puppy in
Breed to Whiting's Annilann Miss Isle. Tony
thanks the Society and the exhibitors for an enjoyable day.
26th August 2006
- Clumber Spaniels. Maude (Maursett
Maude) takes the Reserve Best Bitch in Breed award at the
Scottish Kennel Club Championship show.
20th August 2006 -
Clumber Spaniels. Tony judges Clumber Spaniels at the
Welsh Kennel Club Championship show and awards the Bitch CC and
Best of Breed to Andy Shaw's Sh Ch Debrics Weather Girl at
Greencourt JW. She went on to take a spectacular Group 2
in the Gundog Group later in the day; meanwhile, Tony gave
the Dog CC (and that all important 3rd one) to Jane & Walter
Lucas's Eilandon Glencoe at Lubyrnetyre. Congratulations
to them as he takes his title. Best Puppy was awarded to
Anbrook Indian Summer.
2nd June 2006 -
German Wirehaired Pointers - Southern Counties Championship Show:
congratulations again as the Judge
awards the Res bitch CC to Norma Ellis's Sassy (Maursett
Marelda via Normbar).
27th May 2006 -
German Wirehaired Pointers - Bath Championship Show: Mr J Mackay
awards the Res bitch CC to Norma Ellis's Sassy (Maursett
Marelda via Normbar).
Congratulations are also in order for Ron and Vera McKenna,
whose
Amicaro Apache at
Carrmyers took the Dog CC (and his title) along
with Best of Breed.
13th May 2006 -
Clumber Spaniels: great
news for the Maursett clan at the Birmingham National
Championship Dog Show, as
Jane and Walter Lucas's Eilandon
Glencoe at Lubyrnetyre
(a son of Riff Raff -
Sh Ch Maursett Mindsapint)
took the Dog CC under Breed Specialist Judge Susan Thomas.
More great news, as a bitch sired by Riff's litter brother then
took the Bitch CC - congratulations to Andy Shaw and her
Sh Ch Debrics Weather Girl at Greencourt
(sired by Maursett Mungo at Kiniel). To complete a
great day for the Maursett Clumbers,
Dave Smith's Maursett Medraut of
Karikad won the Reserve Dog CC. Well done to all!
19th March 2006 - German
Wirehaired Pointers: Fizz
(Sh Ch Normbar Coleen of Maursett) won
Open GWP and then Best of Breed at the Newton Aycliffe Canine
Society Open Show. Her daughter, Maursett Madelhari, owned
by Paul Wyer and Abbi Marshall-Wyer, won the GWP Special
Yearling Class at the same show.
12th March 2006 - CRUFTS - German
Wirehaired Pointers: our congratulations to Norma Eillis
whose
Maursett Marelda via
Normbar won a large Post Graduate breed class at Crufts
under Judge Miss D Smillie. Clumber Spaniels:
Maursett Maude took second place in the
Special Puppy Bitch breed class (Judge Mr Chris Bexon).
5th March 2006 - German Wirehaired Pointers: Robin
Sadler awarded yet another Best of Breed to Paul Wyer and Abbi
Marshall-Wyer's Maursett Madelhari at the Gateshead Metropolitan
Borough Canine Society Open Show.
